Hammer mill, as one of the ore crushing equipment, is able to crush the ores below 50mm or tailings and middlings that are not released completely. The released output could be concentrated by shaking table in the next process. Being suitable for small scale nonferrous and precious metal mines like tungsten, tin, gold, the hammer mill could be the alternative of ball mill in some extent. It is with easy installation and operation, low investment and quick effect. Its sieve opening size, minimum 1mm, can be customize configured as per the actual ore situation.

Working Principle

The rotor configured with hammer, as the main working component of hammer mill is composed of spindle,disc,pin shaft,and hammers.The rotor,being driven by the motor ,rotates in a high speed in the crushing cavity.The materials,being fed into the crushing cavity from feeding port,are crushed,shattered,and ground under the function high speed hammers.The undersize will be discharged through the screen plate which is installed at the bottom of the rotor,while the oversize will remain upon the screen plate for re-crushing and grinding,and be discharged finally.
